Early on we found our experience of large gyms very disappointing both as customers and as freelance service providers. We became increasingly frustrated at the general poor levels of service and instruction within the industry. More and more gyms are opening all the time, enticing you with new member deals.
All of these new gyms open with a big membership drive and soon they are packed out and you find yourself queuing for equipment. Have you ever noticed how many sales staff these large clubs have, where sales are more important than member results, next time you go to visit one ask how many people are in their sales team and how many are on their retention team (If they have one).
We have found, in these centres, that personal training standards are ridiculously poor and good training programmes and qualified instruction were almost impossible to find. We set out to create something completely different. Which we've done.
We do not feel it is possible to be the cheapest and supply the best fitness coaching. Poor service, poor staff and poor member results are all part of being a cheaply priced facility. If price is your deciding factor, you may not find us an obvious choice. This means that our gym is not for everyone. But, if you are looking to achieve the results you want and you appreciate high quality instruction, then we are for you.

We believe we offer the best fitness training in the area, delivered by the most attentive and knowledgeable staff, using most cutting edge training methods. You will not find a more highly qualified or expertly trained fitness training team anywhere else.
We specialize in training busy people who don't think they've got the time to get fit. Especially working with people who spend most of their lives sat at a desk or in the car, giving them exercises to relieve stress or back pain. As well as purely increasing fitness, muscularity and fat reduction or training for a specific event such as a half marathon or skiing holiday. In fact, it doesn't matter what your goals are we can guarantee you we've worked with people just like you.

During your initial consultation the specific goals and results you want to achieve will be drawn up. If after following all of our advice you have not reached your agreed goals then you may request your money back. You must be able to look your instructor in the eyes and say ‘I have followed all your advice to the letter and attended all my sessions, yet I have failed to reach my goals’. If you can confidently and honestly say that then we will give you your money back.
Firstly, please consider the following questions for a couple of minutes:
Most gym fees range from £30 to £100 per month. But, industry usage rates are only about 20% or less - that means the number of people using the gym on a regular basis (2 to 3 times per week 44 to 48 weeks of the year) is very low and lots of people pay their membership but hardly use it, sometimes only going 10 times a year or less - the big corporate gyms love this.
If you do use a personal trainer you are generally going to be paying between £25 and £40 per hour. An average of £32.50 per session training twice per week will mean spending £260 per month.
If you also pay a membership fee, your total monthly spending would be about £325 per month (based on an average of £65 per month membership).
There will be a maximum of 3 people being trained by an instructor at any one time (on occasions you will get a very inexpensive one to one session).
Sessions are conducted on the hour and last 60mins.
Membership hours run between:
7 and 10am
12 and 2pm
4 and 8pm
Monday to Friday
All of the staff at Kinetic Fitness has a degree as a minimum standard. Added to this is a commitment to continuing education, taking the latest scientific research and applying it to those who need it most.
We do not just count your reps for you. You will continually be fed information to educate you on all aspects of health and fitness. This information can be applied immediately. Allowing you to make those all important changes and really attain your goals.

Membership offers you more flexibility than normal one to one training which has a 24hour cancellation policy. This means that you can cancel a session at the last minute and still attend (space permitting) a session later that day or the next.
i.e. Two sessions booked, one on Monday at 8am and one on Thursday at 4pm. You attend the Monday session but are unable to attend your usual Thursday at 4pm - simply arrange for the second session at another time that week which is convenient to you.
Sessions are billed on a monthly basis but scheduled on a weekly basis. This means that if you never go away on holiday you will get an extra 4 weeks free.
i.e. 12 monthly payments but 13 four week blocks.
Alternatively, you can make up any missed sessions within 4 weeks.
